Dream II | Fiber Art Series
Dream II continues the exploration of layered consciousness within the Dream I–IV series,
created entirely from reclaimed denim garments that have been discharged, stripped, coiled, and reshaped
into sculptural fiber forms. The repetitive coil structure echoes the way dreams move — looping,
overlapping, disappearing, and returning in fragments.
In this work, the spiraled denim becomes a metaphor for recurring thoughts and recurring emotions.
The circular motion reflects the cycles of dreaming: a dream folding into another dream,
one memory slipping into the next, and the subconscious weaving new narratives from familiar textures.
The deep indigo surface carries traces of past lives and gestures — like the memories we hold quietly
beneath the surface.
Dream II emphasizes rhythm and repetition, capturing the sensation of drifting between states of mind.
Through its coiled forms and layered density, the work visualizes the inner movement of reflection,
imagination, and memory — revealing how dreams echo long after they fade.

Dream III expands this journey, exploring the quiet space between fading memories and newly forming thoughts — where the subconscious reshapes what is remembered.
