Dream I | Fiber Art Series 2019 · Used Denim Jeans · 24 x 48 in The “Dream 1–4” series is created by hand using vintage denim garments whose color has been discharged, then coiled and layered into sculptural fiber forms. Each piece explores the layers and overlaps of dreaming — within a dream, I dream again; I dream about dreams; and within a dream, another dream unfolds.     Fragments of Memories The work “Fragments of Memories” is a fiber art piece created by repurposing old denim jeans that I once wore or that were no longer wanted by others. The discarded fabrics carry traces of their previous lives and seem to hold fragments of memories that drift away. By collecting and reassembling these fragments into new forms, this series visualizes the flow of time and the persistence of memory.
